New Issue: Citigroup sells $2.27 million buffer securities linked to index basket

Buffalo, N.Y., March 22 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. priced $2.27 million of 0% buffer securities due March 29, 2023 linked to an equally weighted basket of indexes, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.

The basket consists of the Russell 2000 index, the Dow Jones industrial average and the Nasdaq-100 index, each with equal weights.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 300% of any positive return of the basket, subject to a maximum payout of par plus 12.85%.

If the basket falls by up to 10%, the payout will be par. Investors will be exposed to declines in the basket below 10%.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the underwriter.
