Moody’s revises Merseylink view to negative

Moody’s Investors Service said it changed to negative from stable the outlook on the rating of Merseylink (Issuer) plc.

The change mirrors Moody’s change in outlook for the ratings of the United Kingdom’s government.

Merseylink’s debt benefits from a guarantee from the U.K.’s government.

Moody’s said it affirmed Merseylink’s Aa2 rating.
