New Issue: Morgan Stanley sells $4 million fixed-income buffered notes on index, ETF

Olympia, Wash., Sept. 19 – Morgan Stanley Finance LLC priced $4 million of 5.25% fixed-income buffered securities due Oct. 16, 2020 linked to the Russell 2000 index and the iShares MSCI EAFE ETF, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Morgan Stanley.

Interest is payable monthly.

At maturity, the payout will be par unless either asset declines by more than 17.5%, in which case investors will be exposed to losses of the lesser performing asset beyond the 15% buffer.
