Morgan Stanley plans buffered PLUS linked to iShares MSCI EAFE, EM

Chicago, March 9 – Morgan Stanley Finance LLC plans to price 0% buffered Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due March 2021 linked to a basket consisting of two exchange-traded funds, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be guaranteed by Morgan Stanley.

The underlying components are the iShares MSCI EAFE ETF with a 70% weight and the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF with a 30% weight.

The payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus 125.5% of any gain in the basket.

Investors will receive par if the basket falls by up to 20% and will lose 1.25% for each 1% decline beyond 20%.

Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is the agent, with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management handling distribution.

The notes will price and settle in March.

The Cusip number is 61768CFZ5.
