Morgan Stanley plans buffered PLUS due 2019 with cap tied to S&P 500

Chicago, Nov. 16 – Morgan Stanley Finance LLC plans to price 0% buffered Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due June 5, 2019 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be guaranteed by Morgan Stanley.

The payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus 200% of any gain in the index, up to a maximum payment of $11.86 per PLUS.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 10% and will be exposed to any losses beyond 10%.

Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is the agent.

The notes will price on Nov. 30 and settle on Dec. 5.

The Cusip number is 61766F565.
