Prosus’ MIH Food gets bridge loan for £5.1 billion Just Eat purchase

Columbus, Ohio, Dec. 9 – Prosus NV’s wholly owned indirect subsidiary MIH Food Delivery Holdings BV has secured a fully committed bridge loan to fund the cash consideration of its acquisition of Just Eat plc, according to a press release.

The lending group includes JPMorgan Chase Bank, NA, London Branch, BNP Paribas Fortis SA/NV, Citibank, NA, London Branch, Citibank, NA, Jersey Branch, Deutsche Bank Luxembourg SA, Morgan Stanley Senior Funding, Inc. and Intesa Sanpaolo SpA, Filiale Frankfurt am Main.

Prosus announced on Monday that it had increased is cash offer for Just Eat’s entire ordinary share capital to 740 pence a share for a total of £5.1 billion.

Prosus, formerly Myriad International Holdings BV, is a Hoofddorp, Netherlands-based holding company and subsidiary of Cape Town, South Africa-based mass media company Naspers Ltd.

Just Eat is a London-based online food ordering company.
