New Issue: RBC sells $2.03 million buffered enhanced return notes on index basket

New York, Aug. 15 – Royal Bank of Canada priced $2.03 million of buffered enhanced return notes due Aug. 1, 2023 linked to a basket of four indexes, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The basket consists of the S&P 500 index with a 43.75% weight, the Russell 2000 index with a 21.25% weight, the MSCI EAFE index with a 22.5% weight and the MSCI Emerging Markets index with a 12.5% weight.

If the basket return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus 135% of the basket gain. Investors will receive par if the basket falls by up to 10% and lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond 10%.
