New Issue: Morgan Stanley prices $250,000 contingent income autocallables linked to Russell, Nasdaq

By Angela McDaniels

Tacoma, Wash., Nov. 8 – Morgan Stanley Finance LLC priced $250,000 of contingent income buffered autocallable securities due May 5, 2021 linked to the lesser performing of the Russell 2000 index and the Nasdaq-100 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Each month, the notes will pay a contingent coupon at the rate of 8% per year if each index closes at or above its coupon threshold level, 80% of its initial level, on the determination date for that month.

Beginning April 30, 2020, the notes will be automatically called at par if each index closes at or above its initial level on any quarterly determination date.

The payout at maturity will be par unless either index finishes below its buffer level, 90% of its initial level, in which case investors will lose 1% for every 1% that the lesser-performing index declines beyond 10%.

The notes are guaranteed by Morgan Stanley.
