Morgan Stanley to price buffered PLUS due 2021 linked to S&P 500

Olympia, Wash., Oct. 9 – Morgan Stanley Finance LLC plans to price 0% buffered Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due Oct. 29, 2021 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to an FWP filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus at least 200% of any index gain, capped at par plus 25% to 30%.
Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 10% and will be exposed to any losses beyond the buffer.
The notes are guaranteed by Morgan Stanley.
Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is the agent.
The notes will price on Oct. 26 and settle on Oct. 31.
The Cusip number is 61768DGP4.
