Morgan Stanley amends upside gearing for trigger gears on EM ETF

Morgantown, W.Va., Nov. 6 – Morgan Stanley Finance LLC updated the upside gearing for its recently priced $1.51 million of 0% trigger gears due Oct. 31, 2022 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be guaranteed by Morgan Stanley.

If the ETF return is greater than zero, the payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus 1.236 times the ETF return. The upside gearing was stated as 1.235 in a previous 424B2 filing.

Investors will receive par if the ETF declines by 20% or less and be fully exposed to the ETF’s decline from its initial level if it declines by more than 20%.
