Morgan Stanley plans PLUS due October 2014 linked to S&P 500

New York, Sept. 5 - Morgan Stanley plans to price 0% Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due October 2014 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to an FWP with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the index finishes above the initial level, the payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus 300% of the index return, capped at 11% to 15%.

Investors will be fully exposed to any decline.

The securities (Cusip: 61762P773) are expected to price in September and settle in October.
