Morgan Stanley plans five-year autocallable notes linked to Russell 2000

Chicago, Oct. 16 - Morgan Stanley plans to price autocallable securities due October 2018 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to an FWP with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes will be called at par plus an annualized premium of 7.6% if the index closes at or above the initial level on any of the first four annual determination dates.
If the index finishes above its initial level, the payout at maturity will be $13.80 per $10.00 of notes.
Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 25% and will be fully exposed to any losses if the index finishes below the 75% trigger level.
Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is the agent.
The notes will price and settle in October.
