Morgan Stanley plans two-year buffered return optimization securities on iShares MSCI EM via UBS

Chicago, May 4 - Morgan Stanley plans to price 0% buffered return optimization securities due May 31, 2013 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets index fund, according to an FWP with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
UBS Financial Services Inc. is the underwriter, and Morgan Stanley & Co. Inc. is the agent.
The payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus 1.25 times any gain in the fund, up to a maximum return of 23.5% to 27.5%. The exact cap will be set at pricing.
Investors will receive par if the fund falls by up to 10% and will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond 10%.
The notes will price on May 25 and settle on May 31.
The Cusip number is 61760E671.
