Fitch rates Washington, D.C., airport bonds AA

Fitch Ratings said it assigned an AA rating to the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority's $250 million airport system revenue bonds, series 2008A (AMT).

The bonds are scheduled for negotiated sale around June 11.

Fitch also affirmed the AA long-term underlying rating on the authority's approximately $3.9 billion of outstanding airport system revenue bonds. The outlook is stable.
