Moody's assigns Aa3 to Nashville water, sewer bonds

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an Aa3 rating and stable outlook to the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County's $128.21 million of water and sewer revenue refunding bonds, series 2008A, and $27.26 million of water and sewer revenue refunding bonds, series 2008B (taxable).

Sale of the bonds is scheduled for Feb. 19.

Moody's also affirmed its Aa3 rating on the metro's $213.43 million of previously issued parity debt.
