New Issue: Merrill prices $6.108 million 0% lesser index leveraged notes linked to Nikkei, Topix

New York, March 14 - Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. priced a $6.108 million issue of 0% lesser index leveraged return notes due April 14, 2008 linked to the Nikkei 225 index and the Topix index, according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

At maturity, investors will receive par plus triple the lesser of the returns on the two indexes. The payout will be capped at par plus 39%.

Investors will share in any losses on the lesser-performing index.
