New Issue: Nomura prices $595,000 9% autocallable notes due 2017 on three stocks

Norfolk, Va., Dec. 17 – Nomura America Finance LLC priced $595,000 of autocallable notes due Dec. 21, 2017 linked to the worst performing of the common stocks of McDonald’s Corp., Pfizer, Inc. and Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will pay a contingent coupon of 9% if on any quarterly observation date the worst performing stock closes at or above 60% of its initial value.

The notes will be automatically called at par plus accrued interest if the value of the worst performing stock is greater than or equal to its initial value on any observation date.

If the notes are not automatically called, the payout at maturity will be par if the worst performing stock closes at or above 60% of its initial value. Otherwise, investors will be exposed to the loss of the worst performing stock.
