Moody's affirms McDonald's unsecured

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a provisional Baa2 preferred stock rating to McDonald's Corp. shelf registration.

In addition, the agency said it affirmed the company's A3 senior unsecured rating and Prime-2 short-term commercial paper rating.

The agency added that it also affirmed the company's provisional A3 senior unsecured and provisional Baa1 senior subordinated shelf ratings.

The outlook remains stable.

The last rating action on McDonald's occurred on Sept. 26, 2007, when the senior unsecured rating was downgraded to A3 from A2, Moody's noted.
