Markit announces changes to CDX North America Investment Grade sub-indexes

Des Moines, March 20 - Markit Group Ltd. announced additions to and removals from five sub-indexes of the Markit CDX North America Investment Grade index, which is expected to roll on Tuesday.

For the CDX NA IG CONS sub-index, Brunswick Corp., Kohl's Corp. and Black & Decker Corp. are being added and Jones Apparel Group, Inc. is being removed.

For the CDX NA IG FIN sub-index, Countrywide Home Loans, Inc. was removed.

For the CDX NA IG INDU sub-index, M.D.C. Holdings, Inc. and Masco Corp. were added, and Lennar Corp.; Centex Corp.; and Pulte Homes, Inc. were removed.

For the CDX NA IG TMT sub-index, Comcast Corp., New York Times Co. and Viacom Inc. were added, and Comcast Cable Communications, LLC; IAC/InterActiveCorp; and Belo Corp. were removed.

There were no changes to the CDX NA IG ENRG sub-index.

The main index is scheduled to roll every six months in order to rebalance the portfolio as necessary.

Markit provides independent data, portfolio valuations and OTC derivatives trade processing to the global financial markets.
