Moody’s changes LPS view

Moody's Investors Service said it changed the outlook on LPS SR, sp's ratings to stable from positive.

Concurrently, the agency affirmed LPS' long-term issuer rating of A2 on the global scale and of Aaa.sk on Slovakia's national scale, and upgraded the company's baseline credit assessment to a3 from baa1.

The agency said the action follows Moody's change of outlook on the A2 rating of the government of Slovakia to stable from positive.

“The strong financial profile of LPS together with the likelihood that the government of Slovakia (A2 stable) would step in with timely financial support to assist LPS if this were needed, means LPS's rating is likely to move in line with that of the government,” the agency said in a news release.
