Lai Fung buys back $6.4 million 9 1.8% notes

New York, April 29 - Lai Fung Holdings Ltd. said it repurchased $6.4 million of its 9 1/8% senior notes due 2014.

The transaction was carried out on Wednesday and the trade will settle on May 4.

So far Lai Fung has bought back $14.253 million of the $200 million notes originally issued.

The company added that it does not at the moment intend to cancel the repurchased notes.

Lai Fung is a Hong Kong-based company involved in the development of properties and investment in service apartments, commercial and office buildings in China.
