Knight Capital hires Gutierrez, McNair as directors, emerging markets

Milwaukee, June 15 - Knight Capital Group, Inc. has hired Alejandro Gutierrez and Marjorie McNair to its U.S. fixed-income sales and trading team, according to a press release.

Effective immediately, Gutierrez and McNair are directors responsible for global emerging markets with a primary focus on Latin American accounts and will report to Daniel Mullineaux, managing director, global head of emerging markets.

Gutierrez is a former senior executive director and partner at Atlas One Financial Group, LLC, where he focused on emerging markets. Previously, he was managing director principal, emerging markets fixed-income sales at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc.

Prior to Bear Stearns, he worked in different emerging markets roles at Merrill Lynch, Citibank and Eli Lilly and Co.

Gutierrez has a B.A. in business administration from Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico and an M.B.A. in international management from American Graduate School of International Management.

McNair is a former senior managing director, emerging market sales at Atlas One Financial Group, LLC where she focused on Latin American emerging markets sales. Before that, she was a managing director at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. responsible for fixed-income emerging markets products. Prior to Bear Stearns, she held various roles in emerging market sales at Deutsche Bank, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, Cambridge International Securities, Inc., UBS, AG and Chemical Bank.

McNair has a B.A. in political science and Spanish from Duke University.
