S&P affirms Klabin

Standard & Poor's said it affirmed the BB corporate credit rating on Klabin SA.

The outlook is stable.

"The rating on Klabin reflects the company's aggressive financial risk profile arising from its heavy levels of investment, exposure to volatile input costs and challenging market conditions," S&P analyst Reginaldo Takara said in a statement.

"These risks are partially offset by Klabin's strong liquidity, competitive cost position, product mix and adequate liquidity," Takara said in a statement.
