New Issue: Kazakhstan’s Baspana sells KZT 6.4 billion more 8½% bonds due 2021

Los Angeles, Jan. 30 – JSC Baspana Mortgage Organisation sold KZT 6,395,000,000 of additional 8½% bonds due Nov. 15, 2021 at a special trading session held on Thursday, according to a Kazakhstan Stock Exchange notice.

The Almaty, Kazakhstan-based lender had registered to issue KZT 100 billion of the 8½% two-year bonds in November and has since sold, up until the current add-on, KZT 93,605,000,000 of the bonds.

The latest bonds were sold at a weighted average “clean” price of 96.4550, corresponding to a weighted average yield of 10.7335%.

The amount sold on Friday represents 100% of the company’s planned placement.
