JPMorgan plans autocallable contingent interest notes on Russell 2000
By Wendy Van Sickle
Columbus, Ohio, Feb. 23 – JPMorgan Chase Financial Co. LLC plans to price autocallable contingent interest notes due March 4, 2019 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are guaranteed by JPMorgan Chase & Co.
Each quarter, the notes will pay a contingent coupon at an annual rate of at least 6.55% if the index closes at or above its barrier level, 80% of its initial level, on the review date for that quarter.
The notes will be automatically called at par plus the contingent coupon if the index closes at or above its initial level on any quarterly review date other than the first, second, third and final review dates.
If the notes have not been called, the payout at maturity will be par unless the index finishes below its 80% trigger level, in which case investors will have one-to-one exposure to the index’s decline from its initial level.
J.P. Morgan Securities LLC is the agent.
The notes will price on Feb. 27.
The Cusip number is 46646QH81.
