JPMorgan to issue lesser index principal-protected notes linked to S&P 500, Nikkei

New York, Oct. 30 - JPMorgan Chase & Co. plans to price an issue of 0% lesser index principal-protected notes due April 10, 2007 linked to the S&P 500 and Nikkei 225 indexes, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The pricing date is expected to be on or about Oct. 31 with settlement on Nov. 3.

At maturity, investors will receive par plus double the lesser index return, with a maximum payout of at least 5.4%. The cap will be determined at pricing. Investors will receive at least par.

J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. will be agent for the offering.
