New Issue: JPMorgan prices $1.56 million 9% yield optimization notes linked to Advanced Micro Devices

Tacoma, Wash., March 17 - JPMorgan Chase & Co. priced $1.56 million of 9% yield optimization notes with contingent protection due March 19, 2012 linked to the common stock of Advanced Micro Devices, Inc., according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Each note priced at par of $8.92, which is equal to the closing price of Advanced Micro Devices stock on the pricing date.

Interest is payable monthly.

If the final share price of Advanced Micro Devices stock is greater than or equal to 75% of the initial price, the payout at maturity will be par. Otherwise, the payout will be one Advanced Micro Devices share per note.
