JPMorgan to price buffered return enhanced notes linked to MSCI EAFE

Philadelphia, Aug. 5 - JPMorgan Chase & Co. plans to price 0% buffered return enhanced notes due Feb. 26, 2010 linked to the MSCI EAFE index, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus at least two times any gain on the index, capped at 18.5%.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by 10% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond 10%.

The notes are expected to price on Aug. 26 and settle on Aug. 29.

J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. will be the agent.
