JPMorgan plans issue of principal-protected notes linked to Euro Stoxx, Nikkei

Philadelphia, Aug. 8 - JPMorgan Chase & Co. plans to price principal-protected notes due Sept. 19, 2012 linked to equal weights of the Dow Jones Euro Stoxx 50 and the Nikkei 225 indexes, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are expected to price Sept. 14 and settle Sept. 19.
Payout at maturity will be par plus any gain on the index times a participation rate that will be determined at pricing and will be at least 123%.
J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. will be the agent.
