New Issue: Jenoptik prices €150 million seven-year notes to yield 8 1/8%

St. Louis, Nov. 3 - Jenoptik AG sold €150 million of 7 7/8% notes due Nov. 15, 2010 (Ba3/BB-/BB) at 98.678 Monday to yield 8 1/8%, according to a market source.

Goldman Sachs and HVB were bookrunners on the Rule 144A/Regulation S offering.

Jenoptik will use proceeds to strengthen its capital base, reduce short-term debt and finance growth.

The issuer is a Jena, Germany technology company.
