Jefferies names Craig McCracken U.S. head of equity-linked origination

Milwaukee, Dec. 14 - Jefferies announced the appointment of Craig McCracken as the U.S. head of equity-linked origination. McCracken will be responsible for sourcing, structuring and marketing convertible and other equity-linked products and will help build Jefferies' equity-linked origination business in the U.S. and international markets.

McCracken was previously with Vicis Capital, where he helped managed a convertible arbitage portfolio.

McCracken worked for six years at Banc of America Securities, where he was a managing director, head of equity-linked origination. He originated and executed transactions across a wide range of equity-linked products, including convertible bonds, convertible preferreds, mandatory convertibles and call spread overlays.

McCracken is experienced in a range of industries, including health care, TMT, financial institutions, energy, real estate, retail and industrials.

McCracken received a J.D. from New York University and his undergraduate degree from Cornell University.

Jefferies is a securities and investment banking firm based in New York.
