India's Jaiprakash Power Ventures to consider issuing convertibles

Kansas City, Kan., March 12 - Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd. informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that its board of directors will consider options for raising funds at a meeting on March 14.

The company will consider compulsorily convertible redeemable preference shares, qualified institutions placements, external commercial borrowings, foreign currency convertible bonds, American Depositary Receipts, Global Depositary Receipts and follow-on public offers.

Jaiprakash Power Ventures is a hydropower company based in Shimla, India.
