Chicago, Jan. 25 Ile-de-France Mobilites (Aa3//AA-) priced 1 billion of green bonds in two parts on Wednesday, according to a market source.
The deal includes 500 million of 3.05% bonds due 2033 that priced at 99.915 to yield 3.06%, or at OATs plus 49 basis points. Guidance was in the OATs plus 52 bps area.
The second tranche priced as 500 million of 3.4% bonds due May 2043 at 99.472 to yield 3.435%. The spread came at 54 bps over OATs. Guidance was in the OATs plus 57 bps area.
BNP Paribas, Credit Agricole CIB, HSBC and Natixis are the joint lead managers.
Books for the 10-year bonds topped 2.6 billion and for the 20-year bonds exceeded 2.4 billion, excluding interest from the joint lead managers.
Proceeds will be used to finance eligible projects under the issuers green bond framework.
Ile-de-France controls and coordinates the different transport companies operating in the Paris-area public transport network.
