Intelsat calls remaining 6 5/8% Jackson notes due 2022

New York, Oct. 31 – Intelsat SA said it will redeem the remaining 6 5/8% senior notes due 2022 issued by Intelsat Jackson Holdings SA.

The issuer will repay the notes on Dec. 15 at par plus the make-whole premium plus accrued interest.

Following a recent exchange offer, the amount of notes outstanding is $375,000.

Intelsat completed the exchange on Sept. 15, accepting $141,423,000, or 99.74%, of its $141,798,000 of outstanding 6 5/8% notes.

All the notes accepted were tendered by the early deadline of 5 p.m. ET on Sept. 12. No further tenders were received after that date.

In exchange for the existing notes, Intelsat issued $705 par amount of 8% senior secured notes due 2024 per $1,000 principal amount of existing notes.

Intelsat is a Luxembourg-based communications satellite company.
