Investors Real Estate files $150 million shelf for stock, preferreds

Knoxville, Tenn., June 29 - Investors Real Estate Trust filed a $150 million common stock and preferred stock shelf registration in an S-3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The preferreds may be structured as convertibles.

Proceeds will be used for general business purposes.

Investors Real Estate Trust is a self-advised real estate investment trust based in Minot, N.D.
