Interstate Power offers dollar fixed-rate green senior debentures

Tupelo, Miss., Sept. 19 – Interstate Power and Light Co. plans to price new dollar-denominated green senior debentures, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Thursday.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, MUFG and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC are the bookrunners.

Co-managers are Comerica Securities, Inc., Mischler Financial Group, Inc. and Williams Capital Group, LP.

The notes will have make-whole and par calls.

Proceeds will be used for construction and development of wind farms under the company’s list of eligible green projects.

The electric and natural gas subsidiary of Alliant Energy Corp. is based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
