Moody’s: International Investment Bank to positive

Moody's Investors Service said it changed the outlook on International Investment Bank to positive from stable and affirmed its Baa1 issuer and senior unsecured debt ratings.

Moody’s said the key drivers of the outlook change are: (a) The increased diversification of IIB's loan portfolio and the maintenance of relatively strong asset quality on loans extended since the bank's re-launch in 2012 despite Russia's recession; and (b) the improved credit quality of the bank’s treasury portfolio since it was downgraded in 2015 and the increased diversification of its funding sources.
