S&P affirms International Investment Bank

S&P said it affirmed International Investment Bank’s A- ratings. The outlook is stable.

“We expect that a global economic slowdown will somewhat delay IIB's progress in repositioning itself as a diversified European institution,” the agency said in a news release.

“We expect the bank's fundamental credit strengths – particularly its capital buffers and contained risk appetite – to protect it from the most severe impacts of anticipated economic volatility.”

The A-2 short-term issuer credit rating was also affirmed.
