Innophos to start roadshow Monday for $190 million 10-year notes

By Paul A. Harris

St. Louis, July 22 - Innophos Inc. will start a roadshow Monday for a $190 million offering of 10-year senior subordinated notes, according to a market source.

Pricing is expected to take place Aug. 2 or 3.

Bear Stearns & Co. and UBS Investment Bank are joint bookrunners for the Rule 144A offering.

The notes will come with four years of call protection.

Proceeds will be used to fund Bain Capital's acquisition of Innophos, Rhodia's North American phosphate chemical division.

The prospective issuer is a Cranbury, N.J.-based producer of phosphoric acid and phosphates for use in specialty applications.
