Moody's could cut Indian banks
Moody's Investors Service said it placed three banks in India, whose standalone credit assessments are currently positioned above India's sovereign debt rating, on review for downgrade.
The debt and deposit ratings for all three banks are unaffected.
Moody's said the announcements reflect its revised assessment of the linkage between the credit profiles of sovereigns and financial institutions globally.
