IMC Global to offer $310 million 10-year notes via Goldman Sachs

St. Louis, July 11 - IMC Global announced Friday that it intends to offer $310 million of senior unsecured notes due 2013.

Goldman Sachs & Co. will run the books for the Rule 144A deal, according to an informed source, who declined to furnish any further details on structure or timing.

IMC will use proceeds to fund the purchase of up to $100 million of its 6.55% notes due 2005 and up to $200 million of its 7 5/8% senior notes due 2005.

The Lake Forest, Ill. company is a producer and marketer of concentrated phosphates and potash crop nutrients for the agricultural industry and feed ingredients for the animal nutrition industry.
