Icahn Enterprises to price $500 million 7.5-year notes on Monday; whisper is 5¼% area

Portland, Me., Dec. 9 – Icahn Enterprises LP plans to price $500 million of 7.5-year senior notes in a Monday drive-by.

Early talk has the notes coming in the 5¼% area, a source said.

Jefferies & Co. is the bookrunner for the Rule 144A and Regulation S offering.

The notes are callable at par plus interest six months prior to their maturity on May 15, 2027.

Proceeds will be used for general partnership purposes.

Icahn Enterprises is a New York-based diversified holding company.
