Moody’s: Hostess unaffected on sale

Moody's Investors Service said that the announced proposed sale of Hostess Brands, LLC (B2 stable) to investment firm Gores Holdings, Inc. for $2.3 billion is a credit positive for Hostess creditors, based on the company's intent to pay down $173 million of debt as part of the transaction.

However, the announcement does not affect the company's ratings or stable outlook.
