Gulfport Energy reports $2.6 million operating loss for March

Olympia, Wash., April 30 – Gulfport Energy Corp. reported a $2.6 million operating loss on $62.9 million of revenues for the March period, according to its monthly operating report filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.

In comparison, the company reported a $43.79 million operating income on $101.36 million of revenues for the February period.

The net loss for March was $19.8 million, compared to a $25.21 million net income for February.

The company had $179.7 million of cash and cash equivalents at the end of March, compared to $161.13 million at the end of February.

Gulfport is a natural gas and oil company based in Oklahoma City. The company filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Nov. 13 under case number 20-35562.
