GS Finance plans digital notes tied to Dow Jones Industrial Average

New York, May 31 – GS Finance Corp. plans to price 0% digital notes due June 30, 2022 linked to the Dow Jones Industrial Average, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

If the final index level is greater than or equal to 85% of the initial index level, the payout at maturity will be the maximum settlement amount of $1,245 and $1,275 per $1,000 principal amount. The exact settlement amount will be set at pricing.

Investors will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond the threshold amount of 15%.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the agent.

The notes will price on June 26 and settle on June 29.

The Cusip number is 40055QCB6.
