New Issue: GS Finance sells $33.59 million digital notes linked to S&P 500

Morgantown, W.Va., April 5 – GS Finance Corp. priced $33.59 million of 0% digital notes due April 4, 2019 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

If the index return is at least negative 15%, the payout at maturity will be the threshold settlement amount of $1,092.50 per $1,000 of notes. Investors will lose 1.1765% for each 1% decline beyond 15%.
