Isolux Corsan announces disciplinary dismissal of Argentina managers

By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, March 1 – Grupo Isolux Corsan, SA recently carried out a disciplinary dismissal of the group’s top management in Argentina as a result of a previous internal investigation carried out by mandate of the company’s new management team, according to a news release.

Isolux Corsan said its new management team commissioned an internal investigation in October related to the development of business contracts under the previous management. In order to carry out this investigation, the company said it also contracted the services of external auditors.

According to the release, internal audit and compliance committee member Natalia Butragueño analyzed and documented all cases that led to police investigations and judicial requirements.

Isolux Corsan said it is collaborating with officials in Spain and other countries in connection with all of the cases being investigated.

In addition, the company said it is designing a comprehensive compliance model, and an audit plan was approved by the board of directors’ audit committee at the end of January.

Isolux Corsan operates in energy, construction and industrial services. The company filed for bankruptcy on July 29, 2016 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York under Chapter 15 case number 16-12202.
