Goody's Family Clothing's unsecured creditors committee appointed

Pittsburgh, June 17 - Goody's Family Clothing, Inc.'s official committee of unsecured creditors has been appointed, according to a Monday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The committee is comprised of Michael Stapleton of Levi Strauss & Co., Eugene, Ore.; Michael Wade Durant of VF Corp., Greensboro, N.C.; Huh Moo Young of Shinsung Tongsang Co., Ltd., Seoul, Korea; Sharyn Wismann of Jeri-Jo Knitting, Bristol, Pa.; Michael Levesque of New Balance Athletic Shoe, Inc., Boston; Eric C. Cotton of Developers Diversified Realty Corp., Beachwood, Ohio; and Ken Newberger of Wells Fargo Century, New York.

Goody's is a Knoxville, Tenn., family apparel retailer operating in small to mid-size markets primarily in the Southeast. The company filed for Chapter 11 on June 9. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-11133.
