Goldman Sachs to price 0% notes linked to Microsoft for Eksportfinans

Philadelphia, Oct. 19 - Goldman, Sachs & Co. plans to price an offering of 0% enhanced participation notes linked to the Microsoft Corp. for issuer Eksportfinans ASA, according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will have a tenor of 13 to 16 months.

If the stock ends above its initial level, the payout will be par plus 200% the gain on the stock, up to a maximum payout of 120% to 122% of par, with the exact maximum redemption amount to be determined at pricing. The participation rate will also be finalized at pricing.

If the stock declines but stays above the trigger level during the life of the notes, the payout at maturity will be par.

If the stock finishes below its initial level and falls below the trigger level - 85% of the initial level - investors will share in any losses.
