Columbus, Ohio, Oct. 23 – GS Finance Corp. priced $100,000 of 0% buffered fund-linked notes due April 26, 2021 tied to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes will be guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
If the fund return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus the fund return, subject to a maximum payment of $1,226.5 per $1,000 principal amount.
If the fund falls by up to 20%, the payout will be par.
Otherwise, investors will lose 1.25% for each 1% decline in the fund beyond 20%.
